Andrew Wiard has been one of Britain's foremost photographers of radical campaigns and social protest for over thirty years.
Short Biography
Self-taught as a photographer, Andrew Wiard, began his career working at Report of London under the guidance of Simon Guttmann, one of the founding fathers of photojournalism from 1920's Berlin. During 1975 - 1987 Andrew worked through Report and from 1988 until now undertakes independent assignment. His photography of radical campaigning and social protest in the UK has produced an unrivalled body of work, and the "Us and Them" exhibition, from which the pictures on this site have been selected.

Full Biography

Self-taught as a photographer, Andrew Wiard, began his career working at Report of London under the guidance of Simon Guttmann, one of the founding fathers of photojournalism from 1920's Berlin.

During 1975 - 1987 Andrew worked through Report and from 1988 until now undertakes independent assignment work and also supplies photographs through Select, as an archive member of Network, and as a founder member of Report Digital. Andrew distributes his stock through his own library and Alamy.

His photography of radical campaigning and social protest in the UK has produced an unrivalled body of work, and the "Us and Them" exhibition, from which the pictures on this site have been selected.
